Piñera anunció regreso del fútbol para el sábado 29 de agosto

El Presidente Sebastián Piñera, acompañado de los capitanes de los equipos de Primera y Segunda División del fútbol chileno, anunció el retorno del balompié nacional luego de la suspensión de los campeonatos producto del avance del coronavirus en nuestro país. Así, la fecha de retorno será el sábado 29 de agosto, pero sin público en los estadios.
En la oportunidad, el Mandatario también hizo un llamado para que se respeten los protocolos y las estrictas normas para controlar de una vez la pandemia del Covid- 19.
«Sé que no podemos pedirle a un gran defensa que mantenga la distancia física en la cancha… Pero sí les podemos pedir a los deportistas, a los futbolistas, algo muy importante. Ustedes lo saben, son para muchos un verdadero ejemplo, una figura. Lo que ustedes hagan o no hagan tendrá efecto en muchos jóvenes que los miran con admiración. Les podemos pedir que en esta pandemia den el ejemplo de cumplir rigurosamente con proteger su salud y la salud de los demás, las vidas de los demás», expresó Piñera.
Este anuncio se llevó a cabo tras el cumplimiento de los clubes con los requisitos que había exigido el Gobierno. Primero, la elaboración de un protocolo sanitario; la creación de una comisión médica y un equipo supervisor; y por último, la tipificación de sanciones y multas por el incumplimiento del protocolo anti Covid-19.
Así, el fútbol se reiniciará con los partidos pendientes de Primera División y Primera B, entre los días 29 de agosto y 2 de septiembre. Una vez que ambas categorías se pongan al día, retomarán el fixture correspondiente. Así, el superclásico entre Universidad de Chile y Colo Colo, que se tiene que disputar en Ñuñoa, se celebrará el fin de semana del 4 al 6 de septiembre.
