IFE y Bono Covid se extenderán hasta el mes abril

Durante la jornada de este miércoles 24 de febrero el Presidente de la República, Sebastián Piñera, anunció la extensión del IFE y Bono Covid para paliar los efectos económicos provocados por la pandemia de coronavirus. De esta manera, los beneficios se extenderán por los meses de marzo y abril.
“Quiero anunciar dos nuevos reforzamientos de la red de protección social: en primer lugar, la extensión del Ingreso Familiar de Emergencia por dos meses adicionales, por marzo y abril de este año; y segundo, el otorgamiento del Bono Covid por los meses de marzo y abril”, afirmó el Mandatario.
En el mismo sentido, el Jefe de Estado agregó que los beneficiarios serán las familias que pertenezcan al 60% de los hogares más vulnerables del país. Además, este viernes comenzará el pago del IFE correspondiente a febrero.
El monto que recibirá cada familia dependerá de la fase del Plan Paso a Paso que se encuentren durante el periodo estipulado por las autoridades. En ese sentido, el Presidente señaló que se trata de “100 mil pesos para cada integrante del grupo familiar para aquellas comunas donde la cuarentena haya estado por cuatro o más semanas”.
Por otro lado, el monto del IFE será de 80 mil pesos -por cada integrante familiar- en “aquellas comunas que hayan estado en cuarentena entre dos y cuatro semanas”.
