Chile recibe 4 millones de nuevas dosis de la vacuna Coronavac

Dos nuevos cargamentos de la vacuna Coronavac llegaron entre este jueves 25 y viernes 26 de febrero a nuestro país. De esta manera, las 4 millones de dosis totales que arribaron a suelo nacional estarán dirigidas a la inoculación de personas entre los 60 y 64 años, con o sin morbilidades, campaña que se desarrollará desde el próximo lunes 1 al viernes 5 de marzo.
Tras esta noticia, el Presidente Sebastián Piñera recordó a sus ministros y colaboradores la exigencia de respetar el orden para vacunarse.
En tanto, estas 4 millones de dosis se sumarán a las 3.990.166 vacunas en total registradas en Chile hasta este 23 de febrero. De este número, 315.900 son vacunas Pfizer, y 3.836.116 son del laboratorio Sinovac.
Desde el Gobierno señalaron que se ha planteado el objetivo de vacunar a más del 80% de personas de más de 65 años para esta semana. “Hasta el momento hemos vacunado a más de un 69% de ese grupo etario”, sostuvo la subsecretaria de Salud, Paula Daza.
Por su parte, la página Our World In Data, indicó que alrededor del 16.3% de la población chilena ha sido vacunada en estos 22 días de proceso, desde que el 3 de febrero se iniciaría el plan nacional.
