Precios de autos usados se dispararon en el mes de enero

De acuerdo a los datos de la empresa de clasificados online Yapo.cl, en la región de Tarapacá se registró un aumento en el precio de autos usados del 100% en enero, respecto al mismo mes del año anterior. En tanto en Arica el alza fue de 63%, en O’Higgins de 55%, Valparaíso de 52%, Ñuble de 46%, Los Ríos de 36%, Araucanía de 29% y en Región Metropolitana de 17%.
Según Yapo, este aumento se debería a la necesidad de las personas de movilizarse en vehículos particulares, para evitar el uso del transporte público ante la actual crisis sanitaria, sumado a la aprobación del retiro del 10% de los fondos de las AFP, que ha sido uno de los principales incentivos para la adquisición de uno de estos vehículos.
La Gerente de Clasificados de Yapo.cl, Claudia Castro, dijo que “las personas decidieron hacer inversiones a largo plazo y una de ellas fue adquirir un auto particular, tanto para evitar usar el transporte público, como también para utilizarlo como una herramienta de trabajo”.
Adicionalmente, advirtió que el alza en los precios no ha sido un impedimento para el crecimiento de este mercado, sobre todo en regiones, donde la demanda continúa aumentando.
Entre las comunas de la Región Metropolitana que tuvieron los mayores incrementos en precios se ubican Renca, con un aumento de 167%, Lampa con 78%, El Monte con 77% y Lo Espejo en 69%.
En cuanto a la demanda, las comunas que tuvieron el mayor crecimiento en enero frente a igual mes de 2021, fueron Osorno (72%), Temuco (22%), Puerto Montt (19%), Coquimbo (18%).
Comparado con diciembre de 2020, la demanda de autos usados aumentó 13% promedio en el país, destacando los crecimiento en Arica (8%), La Araucanía (7%), Aysén (6%), Los Ríos (6%) y la Región Metropolitana.
