Ministro de Salud rechazó propuestas enviadas por el comercio para flexibilizar funcionamiento en fase 2

A pesar de las propuestas enviadas al Gobierno por el sector del comercio en el contexto del retroceso a la fase 2 del Plan Paso a Paso en la Región Metropolitana, el ministro de Salud, Enrique Paris, informó durante el balance nacional sobre la pandemia de este jueves 10 de diciembre que decidió rechazar, por el momento, el realizar modificaciones a las restricciones.

 

De esta manera, Paris indicó que “no vamos a hacer ninguna modificación por el momento. Nosotros queremos trabajar en conjunto con el ministro de Economía y para eso hemos fijado una reunión de coordinación para ir afinando este tipo de decisiones. Pero por el momento no hay ningún cambio definido. Estas medidas se dan en el contexto de un alza de la positividad de los exámenes de PCR y que la situación de la Región Metropolitana es crítica”.

 

No obstante, pese a que el secretario de Estado echó por suelo las aspiraciones del comercio, el subsecretario del Trabajo, Fernando Arab, recordó que las tiendas puedan extender su horario de funcionamiento en dos horas más durante 9 días dentro de los 15 días previos a la Navidad.

 

“Nos va a ayudar a mitigar las aglomeraciones de las personas que compran en el comercio durante este tiempo y que es tan intensivo durante esta época del año”, comentó Arab.
