Gobierno estudia retrasar toque de queda para mejorar activación de la economía

El ministro de Economía, Lucas Palacios, abordó este martes 22 de septiembre las diferentes proyecciones que realizan en el Gobierno en cuanto a reactivación económica, reconociendo que incluso se encuentra en carpeta un posible retraso en el toque queda con el objetivo de fomentar la activación de algunos rubros económicos, principalmente impulsado por solicitudes del sector gastronómico.
Y aunque aclaró que no hay ninguna decisión tomada, sostuvo que si se retrasara la hora de inicio del toque de queda, esto no solo resultaría beneficioso para el sector gastronómico y del comercio, sino que además “habilitaría a que otros sectores de la economía funcionen de mejor manera”.
En tanto, el presidente de la Cámara Nacional de Comercio Servicios y Turismo de Chile (CNC), Manuel Melero, señaló estar de acuerdo con acortar el toque de queda o bien poner fin a esta medida restrictiva para las comunas que se encuentran desde la Fase 3 en adelante.
En paralelo, Palacios reveló que también están analizando la opción de adelantar el permiso de funcionamiento para hostales y hoteles, que actualmente solo se habilitaría en la Etapa 5 del plan de desconfinamiento, es decir, en Apertura Inicial. “Estamos evaluando esos protocolos, ya están publicados, efectivamente estaban para la etapa 5, pero estamos haciéndoles ciertos ajustes para poder ir adelantando ciertas fases», señaló.
Finalmente, el ministro se refirió a los lineamientos que realizan respecto al turismo extranjero, señalando que “hay que ir proyectándolo, tenemos contacto permanente con los distintos operadores internacionales en distintos países, tenemos un gran hito este año que es el eclipse en las regiones de Los Ríos y en La Araucanía”.
En esta línea, concluyó que “tenemos que preparar logísticamente eso e ir adelantando, anticiparnos, si es que están las condiciones sanitarias, de qué manera entonces vamos a nosotros a recibir a esos turistas, qué les vamos a exigir, cuáles son las medidas sanitarias”.
