Solicitudes de quiebras de empresas durante agosto suben 6,9% anual

Según lo informado por la Superintendencia de Insolvencia y Reemprendimiento, durante el mes de agosto las empresas que solicitaron iniciar su proceso de liquidación llegaron a 155, lo que significa un alza de 6,9% en comparación al mismo periodo del año pasado y un incremento de 10,7% en relación a julio. Además, es el mayor salto desde marzo de este año.
Al comparar los datos entre enero y agosto, se contabilizan 1.142 firmas que iniciaron un proceso de liquidación, frente a las 1.132 del año pasado, lo que se traduce en una leve alza de 0,9%.
Tras estos datos, el superintendente de Insolvencia y Reemprendimiento, Hugo Sánchez, explicó que “el importante paquete de medidas económicas que hemos estado implementando ha permitido que la iliquidez de personas y empresas no se transformen en insolvencia, logrando contener un aumento masivo de solicitudes de procedimientos, lo que se refleja en las estadísticas que publicamos mensualmente, mostrando hasta ahora alzas muy menores en algunos de los procedimientos”.
En tanto, el abogado y socio fundador de Defensadeudores.cl, Ricardo Ibáñez, indicó que deben leerse con precaución estas cifras, ya que las pequeñas empresas están logrando sobrevivir gracias a la ayuda del Gobierno, pero que a medida que esas políticas paliativas se vayan retirando, el escenario será complejo. “Muchas pymes que tenían Créditos Covid con 6 meses de gracia, hoy día están teniendo que empezar a pagar las cuotas de estas líneas de crédito. Lo mismo sucederá con créditos hipotecarios que fueron postergados en estos meses. Por lo tanto, las empresas tendrán mayores gastos que asumir, en momentos en que aún no vemos una recuperación de la economía”, advirtió.
Por otra parte, y en contracara a esta información, también se registró un alza en la inscripción de nuevos emprendimientos de 20,9% durante el mismo mes de agosto, totalizando 16.545. Según el Ministerio de Economía, en el octavo mes del año se constituyeron en el Régimen General (Diario Oficial) 2.393, y el Régimen Simplificado (RES) 14.152 empresas.
En detalle, los registros del Régimen Simplificado subieron 29,1% mientras que las constituciones por Diario Oficial bajaron 12% en comparación al mismo mes del año pasado. Entre enero y agosto se han inscrito 95.159 firmas frente a las 76.861 del mismo período del año pasado.
Para el ministro de Economía, Lucas Palacios, el crecimiento sostenido en la creación de empresas coincide justamente con el uso de la plataforma Tu Empresa en Un Día y la habilitación de la firma electrónica avanzada lanzada en abril. “La implementación de estas iniciativas ha permitido facilitar la creación de empresas en un momento de especial demanda por emprender, a causa de la pandemia, alcanzando cifras históricas”, precisó.
