Pignus, la nueva startup que facilita la toma de decisiones relacionadas al fortalecimiento del capital humano de las organizaciones

Proveniente de la Región de Antofagasta, Pignus es la nueva startup que se incorpora a la selecta vitrina del programa InnovaConnect, iniciativa liderada por Innova360 que busca democratizar la innovación abierta, con el objetivo de crecer y poder aumentar su impacto a nivel nacional e internacional. A través de su solución “Rehaviour”, una herramienta simple, rápida e imparcial, facilitan la toma de decisiones relacionadas al fortalecimiento del capital humano de las organizaciones, esto a través de la detección de brechas conductuales de los trabajadores con la utilización de entornos de realidad virtual y modelos predictivos de conducta potenciados por inteligencia artificial.

“Conocimos el programa hace un tiempo a través de algunos eventos y pudimos notar que se persigue un objetivo con un enorme potencial, como lo es conectar startups capaces de entregar soluciones innovadoras a los desafíos de las grandes empresas. Consideramos que es una excelente oportunidad para aumentar nuestro impacto a nivel nacional e internacional y tenemos grandes expectativas, sobre todo en el crecimiento que podemos tener con su apoyo”, señala Felipe Sanhhueza, CEO Pignus.

 

 

Respecto al desarrollo de Pignus y qué los motivó a crear su startup, Felipe cuenta que “nació en el 2018 cuando nos propusimos la meta de mejorar la seguridad conductual del mundo, esto debido a la alta tasa de accidentes ocurridos por actos inseguros y las dificultades existentes para medir efectivamente las conductas de los trabajadores. Es en ese momento que deciden buscar facilitar la evaluación combinando la tecnología con las técnicas de la psico-prevención. En la actualidad, nuestro público objetivo son las organizaciones que tienen trabajadores expuestos a altos niveles de riesgos, como la minería y construcción. Últimamente hemos notado que existen otras industrias que buscan fortalecer su cultura de seguridad y hemos empezado a conversar con ellas para alinear nuestra solución con sus desafíos”.

En cuanto a sus inicios y búsqueda de capital, el también ingeniero civil industrial sostiene que “en 2018, mientras aún éramos estudiantes universitarios, con parte de nuestro propio capital logramos generar una versión básica de nuestra herramienta que nos llevó a ganar la categoría plata del concurso de emprendimiento universitario más grande del país ‘Jump Chile’. A partir de lo anterior, enfocamos todos nuestros esfuerzos y motivación en seguir adelante logrando continuar nuestro desarrollo con la adjudicación de un fondo PRAE de Corfo Antofagasta, que nos permitió empaquetar nuestra herramienta y poder llevarla al mercado”.

Finalmente, sobre a sus proyecciones y expectativas, Sanhueza agrega que “tenemos grandes expectativas para este año a pesar de la situación por la que atraviesa el mundo, por lo que apuntamos a crecer en ventas y consolidarnos a nivel nacional con el apoyo de Start-up Chile mediante su programa Seed. Hoy por hoy con la pandemia, hemos aprovechado de generar nuevas funcionalidades que ayuden a las organizaciones a reconocer fácilmente la efectividad de sus protocolos y la capacidad de sus trabajadores en el cumplimiento de estos. Y con lo que respecta al uso de la herramienta, afortunadamente solo hemos tenido que hacer pequeños ajustes que permitan una correcta sanitización y prevención de contagios en su implementación en las organizaciones”.
