IV Cumbre de liderazgo femenino nos presenta: «3° Ciclo de entrevistas a mujeres líderes junto a la directora RRHH y Comunicaciones de Latam Engie Mónica Delgado»

El empoderamiento femenino y las capacidades que las mujeres poseen para liderar grandes compañías en la actualidad es un tema sumamente contundente; según el Reporte de Indicadores de Género en las Empresas en Chile, elaborado por el Ministerio de la Mujer y el Ministerio de Hacienda, la proporción de mujeres y hombres en directorios y gerencias de primera línea son realmente impactantes:

 

  • Gerencias de Primera Línea: Sólo hay un 20% de Mujeres en estos cargos – 80% Hombres.

 

  • Directorios: sólo un 10,6% de los cargos son ocupados por mujeres – 89,4% Hombres.

 

  • En Chile, las Mujeres en Cargos ejecutivos, ganan un 10% menos de sueldo bruto que los hombres.

 

  • Y en general, el nivel de participación de las mujeres es tan sólo de un 40,7%.

 

Bajo la misma línea, en el marco de la IV Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino articulado por el tercer “Ciclo de entrevistas a Mujeres Líderes” se propone derechamente potenciar y visibilizar el liderazgo femenino protagonizado por rostros icónicos en el rubro empresarial nacional.

La Gerente General de Cámara Chileno India de Comercio CAMINDIA, Andrea Rojas Van Dyck conversó con Pelle Magazine, entregándonos varias apreciaciones en torno al objetivo del evento y las motivaciones para llevarlo a cabo.

 

“Este ciclo de entrevista nació ya que debido a la pandemia no pudimos realizar nuestro evento anual presencial, Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino, para nosotros es muy importante seguir visibilizando el liderazgo femenino, ya que es un ciclo donde damos a conocer la experiencia de distintas mujeres que hoy se encuentran en posiciones de liderazgo, donde nos cuentan cómo fueron sus inicios profesionales, éxitos y fracasos, desafíos que han enfrentado durante su carrera laboral, cómo han logrado equilibrar su vida personal y profesional, como ven la inclusión de la mujer en el mundo empresarial en Chile, inspiraciones, y más” Añade la Gerente General de CAMINDIA.

 

Así mismo Andrea nos comenta: “Creemos que estas cifras son decepcionantes, por lo que esperamos poder generar un impacto positivo y ojalá en un corto plazo veamos cambios en los porcentajes mencionados; Por otra parte, poder seguir organizando este encuentro de forma digital me enorgullece mucho, ya que además de haber participado en la organización de las cumbres de liderazgo femenino anteriores he organizado capacitaciones en modo de seguimiento a la cumbre, ya que es una temática que promuevo e impulso a modo muy personal”


¿Qué legado deja según tu opinión la IV Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino?

 

La Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino es un evento que ha sido organizado durante tres años consecutivos por diversas Cámara de Comercio Bilaterales y lo que buscamos con este encuentro es visibilizar el importante rol que están cumpliendo las mujeres en diferentes ámbitos de la sociedad.

 

Esperamos con este tipo de eventos no sólo lograr generar conciencia, sino también generar un aumento de la participación femenina en distintos niveles de liderazgo a nivel nacional e internacional, ya sea empresarial, económico, político o público.

 

¿Cuál es la visión que tienen respecto al evento y los aportes que tiene para las mujeres empresarias?

 

Debido a la pandemia todo el mundo ha tenido que adaptarse y tomar nuevas modalidades de trabajo, de comunicarse, de informarse y de generar contactos. La modalidad “normal” de la Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino es un desayuno que reúne a más de 250 personas en un salón donde tiene lugar la conferencia y panel de conversación. Aún no tenemos claridad sobre cuándo podremos retomar este estilo de eventos, y es por esta razón que hemos decidido seguir con el compromiso de visibilizar el liderazgo femenino a través de espacios virtuales y a distancia.

 

Finalmente vemos este evento online como una oportunidad para llegar aún a más mujeres, a más personas. Durante las dos primeras entrevistas hemos contado con la asistencia de mujeres de todo chile, e incluso de algunas asistentes internacionales.

 

La Cumbre de Liderazgo Femenino se ha destacado por ser un punto de encuentro, un lugar donde se puede compartir abiertamente y generar contactos de primera línea, parte importante de nuestro rol como Cámara de Comercio es justamente ofrecer espacios propicios para la generación de Networking, por lo que de todos modos retomaremos su versión presencial cuando sea posible.

 

El próximo 5 de agosto, tendremos el agrado de presenciar la entrevista vía Zoom y YouTube Live (16:30 hrs) a la Directora de RRHH y Comunicaciones LATAM ENGIE Mónica Delgado, quien encabeza un puesto de gran importancia en una empresa con más de 100 años de experiencia en la generación, transmisión y suministro de electricidad. Además de transportar gas natural y proponer más de 50 soluciones energéticas para la minería, territorios, hogares, pequeñas y medianas empresas.

En ese sentido, la Gerente General de la Cámara Chileno Belgo Luxemburguesa de Comercio A.G. Ann Bruggeman nos comenta: “Para nosotros, es uno de los eventos más importantes del año. Hemos comenzado con esta iniciativa hace un par de años atrás, y cada vez el interés es más importante. La necesidad por dar relevancia a este tema, y espacio a mujeres emprendedores y ambiciosas, se torna clave en los tiempos que vivimos”

 

“En mi experiencia como Gerente de la Cámara, veo que muchos puestos de alta dirección son casi exclusivamente compuestos por hombres. Lamento que la mujer, hoy en el siglo XXI, no tenga mayor presencia en dichas funciones; Hay un camino largo por recorrer, pero es sumamente importante desarrollar y dar espacio a las mujeres poderosas que forman y formarán parte de la alta dirección en puestos de relevancia en el país, y en el mundo” Finaliza Bruggeman.

 

También contamos con las apreciaciones de Greg Holland Gerente General de la Cámara Chileno – Británica de Comercio quién nos señaló : “Para la Cámara Chileno Británica de Comercio, la equidad de género en el ámbito laboral es tan fundamental que debe formar parte del código de ética de cada empresa. Además, sabemos que el liderazgo femenino es un tema muy importante para varios de nuestros socios. La IV Cumbre, y este ciclo de entrevistas enfocadas en liderazgo femenino , presenta la plataforma perfecta para destacar no solo la importancia de el negocio, si no  también mostrar las capacidades

y talento que existe hoy en día”

Respecto a la invitada de la tercera jornada del “Ciclo de Entrevistas a Mujeres Líderes” Mónica Delgado el Gerente General de la Cámara Chileno – Británica de comercio se refirió en los siguientes términos: “Mónica trae a la mesa gran experiencia y tiene muchas observaciones valiosas para compartir sobre su viaje personal para alcanzar una posición de liderazgo. Ahora con Engie, un Patrocinador de la Cámara-Chileno Británica, ella es parte del grupo que ha practicado durante muchos años una política consciente de promover la diversidad de género y la igualdad profesional entre hombres y mujeres. Esperamos escucharla hablar sobre cómo ENGIE está acelerando la integración de las mujeres a través de su proyecto Fifty- Fifty, cuyo objetivo es crear las condiciones necesarias para lograr la paridad gerencial para 2030 y fortalecer el anclaje cultural y las prácticas gerenciales a largo plazo”

 

Para concluir, Andrea Rojas Van Dyck enfatiza en querer lograr reunir a las mujeres para potenciar las capacidades de contribuir con las posiciones que ocupan dentro de las empresas y en la vida; “Invitamos a mujeres que se encuentren en posiciones de liderazgo, de toma de decisiones, que tengan equipos a cargo, en este sentido buscamos perfiles lo más diversos posible para así poder compartir experiencias con la que todas las mujeres se puedan identificar”

 

“De la misma forma, buscamos cubrir diversos sectores ya sea Finanzas, Minería, Energía, Retail, Cosmética, Legal, Logística, etc…Además de compartir historias excepcionales de mujeres que han puesto todo el empeño y esfuerzo en sacar sus carreras y sueños adelante”

 

“En este sentido creemos que Mónica será una gran referente, ya que actualmente es directora de recursos humanos de una empresa multinacional del sector energético, en el cual aún queda mucho trabajo por hacer en cuanto a la equidad de género, felizmente la empresa en la cual trabaja tiene una fuerte estrategia de llegar a una cuota de 50/50 dentro de algunos años por lo que además de poder compartir su visión internacional, ya que ha trabajado en diversos países, nos podrá contar ejemplos concretos de buenas prácticas y proyecciones que están implementando dentro de su empresa” asegurando que la invitada para esta jornada posee todas las características para contribuir directamente con el aumento de conciencia y ser motivo de inspiración para todas aquellas mujeres que aún no dan el gran paso.
