CMF modifica norma e impide que se soliciten distintos créditos hipotecarios al mes sin que las entidades se percaten

Al momento de solicitar un crédito, al banco se le permite acceder a una serie de datos financieros de la persona como los préstamos, carga financiera y el perfil de cumplimiento de cada deudor, los que son fiscalizados por la Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF). Aquella información demora más de un mes en ser actualizada por los bancos, lo que provoca que exista un punto ciego debido a que las entidades no pueden acceder a los datos disponibles que indican si es que las personas deciden tomar varios créditos en un mismo mes en distintas entidades.
En relación a este problema, la CMF puso en consulta una normativa la semana pasada que cambia la periodicidad de envío de información requerida para el informe de deuda.
La misma Comisión explicó que “los cambios propuestos significarían una reducción en el rezago de la información de un 72%, pasando de 50 días corridos a 14”.
Frente a la nueva normativa, la CMF no mencionó explícitamente que el objetivo de ésta era impedir que las personas solicitaran créditos en distintas entidades; más bien, apuntaron a dos razones.
Primero, para buscar mejorar los reportes de informes de deuda, ya que actualmente el rezago para el usuario final del informe estaría en torno a 1 mes y 20 días, provocando una “importante insatisfacción en la ciudadanía, principalmente porque no ven reflejadas las amortizaciones en sus estados de deuda, elevando el número de reclamos presentados en este Organismo”.
En segundo lugar, porque “afecta negativamente la gestión de riesgo de los fiscalizados, los cuales no pueden observar el comportamiento de importantes factores de riesgo en el transcurso de un mes”.
La CMF informó que los nuevos plazos de envío comenzarán a regir a partir de la información referida a la primera semana del mes de julio de 2021.
